- Summary: This is an on-location programme on " foods that are nutritious for small children to prevent them from malnutrition". The first story is from Sabina Rimal of Rasuwa district whose major concern is entertainment and education of children who has been affected by the earthquake. She further shares proper food habit is important for healthy life along with entertainment and they suggest the parent by meeting personally about how important nutritious food is for their children. The second story is from Sailendra Bista of ACF international who shares that mother should not use readymade packed food to feed their children as it can be problematic in the physical and mental growth of children. He suggests that children should be fed with homemade food like pulse, beans, and vegetable in a proper amount. The third story is about Samjhana Tamang who is in her post partum period. Mr. Bista shares with her that feeding baby mother milk for six months is healthy for a newly born baby. The baby should be fed with eggs, green vegetable and special food called to made from different grains. They should not be fed with readymade foods like a biscuit. He further adds women should take nutritious food during her pregnancy.
