- Summary: This is an on-location programme about “mensurational hygiene in temporary shelter and mensurational irregularity”. Our reporter along with Dr. Rangina Shah,Gynochologist visited Manamaiju, Tarkeshwor Municipality,Kathmandu where they talked with three young girls who shared their problems like mensurational irregularity and problem they face during mensurational period. Dr. Shah shares the importance of cleanliness and hygiene to prevent from infection during mensuration period. Then they visited Bhaja Narayan Maharjan who lives with his wife and three daughters. He is an inspirational husband who helps his wife and daughters during their mensuration period. Similarly, Dil Kumari Maharjan shares her problem of mensurational irregularity and difficulties she faces in temporary shelter during mensuration period. Dr. Shah suggests her to consult gynochologist regarding her mensurational irregularity. She further adviced to change pad 4 to 5 times a day as it can cause infection. Dr. Shah said it is important to bath regularly, pay attention to hygiene and dispose pad properly. Chandika Rai from Gongabu in automated audio system said that she follows our program as we encourage people who are trying to cope up with their problems. Similarly, Keshav Baskota shared that he likes the way we incorporate location report in our programme.
