Kedar Nath Ghimire and Dhana Maya Ghimire (couple) from Namdu VDC, Dolakha shared the need to discuss with each other on matters like how to make house gender friendly and how to manage kitchen and toilet. Nakali Maharjan and Purna Devi Tuladhar from Karyabinayak, Lalitpur shared about the need of building gender friendly house. On this matter Bikram Rana expressed his view about things that need to be considered while constructing house to make it comfortable for women and involvement of women in construction. Sabitri Ghimire from Namdu, Dolakha shared her experience of building temporary cottage that is friendly for women and about importance of making house friendly for women. Similarly, Hoam Kumari Acharya from Namdu Dolakha shared about importance of making kitchen separate from living room, use of improved gas and health problems caused by smoke from kitchen.In response to this, Bikram Rana shared about advantages of building house friendly for women llike time saving, reduce health problems and maintaining cleanliness around the surrounding.
